Mr. Vatsal Lilani

Vatsal Lilani joined Andre & Cie’s Myanmar operations as Country Head in 1996 and since then has been a prominent face in the agro circles in the country. Andre & Cie is a Swiss commodity group which had operations in over 100 countries globally was one of the first international companies to have started operations in Myanmar after the country opened up. After a 15 year stint, he started his own business under the name of Evertop Commodities Pte Ltd.
Vatsal has worked in several locations internationally such as Bangkok, Toronto, Dubai & Singapore and has extensive experience in the Grain trade. He holds a Bachelors in Commerce from Mumbai University & a Masters in Marketing. He’s a prolific swimmer having captained his University and State teams and has a record of swimming a 26 mile stretch nonstop in the Arabian Sea off Mumbai.

Ms. Nidhi Khare, I.A.S.

Mrs Nidhi Khare, is an IAS officer of 1992 batch from Jharkhand Cadre,empaneled as Additional Secretary. Born in Jammu on 12th February, 1968, she completed her studies from Dehradun and Lucknow, doing her Masters in Biochemistry.

She has served as District Collector in Madhubani, Jamshedpur and Dumka.

Dr. N P Singh

Dr. N P Singh has more than 32 years of experience in agricultural research , human resource development and management with laudable contributions including strengthening and coordination of Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Activities. He obtained his Ph. D degree in Genetics from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. Further he acquired advanced training in early days of his career in the area of molecular biology and genetic transformation from some of the leading biotechnology laboratories like BARC, Mumbai, NCL, Pune, NRCPB, New Delhi, ICRISAT, Patencheru (India) and ICARDA, Aleppo, Syria.

Mr. Hitesh Jain

Hitesh Jain is the Country Head for AGT Foods, AGT Food and Ingredients (TSX: AGT) is one of the largest suppliers of value-added pulses, staple foods and food ingredients in the world. They buy lentils, peas, beans and chickpeas from farmers around our 40+ facilities located in the best pulse growing regions in Canada, the United States, Turkey, Australia, China and South Africa, and ship their products to over 120 countries around the globe.
His overall experience in trading has been about 20 years, starting his career as an entrepreneur in Mumbai at a young age of about 18years, then moving to a professional career with an international exposure of about 10 years he has developed expertise on Agro Products, Rice, Sugar & Timber.
His hobbies include playing cricket, singing, and organize events.

Mr. Lalit Pant

Lalit Pant is a Pulses Trader at Viterra India Private Limited. He has been part of commodities trading for over 10 years starting out with Cotton and eventually moving to Pulses. A post graduate from Symbiosis University, he has a keen eye for analytics and loves the volatility of international markets. Apart from being one of the market leaders in pulses trading, Viterra now has interests in pulses milling and marketing of finished goods, Lalit is a core team member responsible for this endeavour.

Mr. Anant Chhajed

Anant Chhajed is a CA by qualification. He is working as General Manager at Swiss Singapore Overseas Ent. Pte Ltd. and is Country Head for Vietnam and Myanmar branches. He has 17 years of diversified trading experience across commodities including Fertilizers, Sulphur, Coal, Steel, Petroleum Products & Agricultural products such as Pulses, Rice, Maize etc.
An accomplished Trading professional, who has surfed commodity price cycles consistently and delivered results successfully managing and mitigating risks. Responsible for a Multimillion-Dollar budget and leading a large team across 02 geographies to deliver results.
Passionate on delivering better service to counterparties and establishing lasting relationships aiding organizational growth and optimizing customer satisfaction. People’s manager with firm belief in teambuilding, developing and retaining talents.

Mr. Nitin Kalantri

Nitin Kalantri, a qualified Chartered Accountant, is the Chief Executive Officer of Latur-based Kalantri Food Products engaged in the processing of Pulses and manufacturing of Besan.

Nitin has been looking after the 60-year-old family business of Pulses processing since 2005 which includes group companies Amrut Food Products, Nitin Food Products, Manish Food Products, H K Industries, Kalantry Proteins and Samay Agro Products with a total installed processing capacity of around 600 tons per day.

Mr. Sanjay Jain

Sanjay Jain, Head of Tata International- Myanmar and Agri division (Asia Region) is A Chartered Accountant and a Cost and Managment Accountant by academics.

TATA International is the flag ship company representing India’s Biggest Industrial conglomerate Tata Group in Myanmar.

Sanjay has rich and long experience of 18 years in Trading in Multi commodities including Timber, Steel, Fertilisers and Agri commodities.

Mr. Shyam Narsaria

Mr Shyam Narsaria, CA, CS and Software Engineer by qualification is the CEO of Arvee International Pte Ltd. He has 18 years of experience in doing import and export of agricultural products such as Pulses, Rice, Sugar, sesame, Spices and Maize. Having rich customers resources and very High business reputation.

Mr.Narsaria is based in Yangon, Myanmar and actively involved in Sales/Purchase and Market Research of Pulses. Before Joining Arvee International Pte Ltd. Mr.Narsaria worked with Ernst & Young Kolkata. Shyam is An eminent Speaker at various Beans and Pulses platform including IPGA & GPC.
